Motivation Monday
Here we are full swing into 2010! It’s that time of year when everyone is starting New Year’s Resolutions. As I mentioned in My Commitment To Me For 2010 I didn’t make resolutions because I don’t ever stick to them. So instead I set goals for myself and yes once again losing weight, exercising and food lifestyle changes are at the top of my goals list!
I am starting back on the Fat Loss Quickie Program that I joined a couple months ago. The exercises are geared towards those of us that work from home and as in my case suffer from computer butt! I’ve always struggled with my weight and I’m Queen of yo-yo dieting (NOT a good thing!) but since I started working from home four years (this month) ago I’ve struggled even more with it! Scott’s FLQ program makes exercising quick and easy. But the one thing I really like about the program is that Scott is always interacting with you – on his forum, on his blog, on Twitter, on Facebook, etc. He makes himself available and that makes the program well worth the $20!
If you struggle with staying motivated, like I do, once you start a new exercise/weight loss routine check out this free motivation report by Scott! Make no mistake, Scott doesn’t let you off easy with this one. If you want something bad enough, you’ve got to DO what you need to do to get there and Scott pulls no punches with this jam packed motivational report.
Mondays are going to be my motivation for the week. I will be doing my weigh in’s on Monday (guess that might not always be a motivation when the numbers aren’t going down it can be hard to remain motivated) and posting the results here. Of course today’s weigh in I’m not posting here because I don’t care to share with the blogosphere what I weigh lol
So how about you – are you eating healthier or starting an exercise program?
(Note: The Fat Loss Quickie program link is my affiliate link. I will earn a small commission if you purchase the program through that link.)

Yep, I’m doing the FLQ workouts too….as a matter of fact I re-started around Christmas. I scheduled in time every morning to do my workout. I need to be more active on the forum and stuff though.
Thanks for posting this! It came right on time….I was not feeling motivated to do my workout at all today, but after reading this, I’m ready to go

Today was my day one of a little holiday detox – had fruit and nuts all day at work! Just to try clean out the rubbish I ate over Christmas!
Am also going to start gym this saturday and get things back on track!
GOOD LUCK!

Best of luck to you on this diet, Tishia. I’m doing one of my own and start this weekend. Hopefully the both of us can get to where we want to be.

Way to go Tishia! Scott’s workouts are great. I’m actually getting back into the swing of the gym and home workouts this week and will have a rebounder challenge next month on my blog if you care to join in. I plan to participate in one challenge a month whether it be one I am doing on my own blog or a challenge by someone else.
Starting today I am going to watch my portions better and get back to drinking 12 glasses of water a day. This last year or so has been a big challenge for me, I have gained back a ton of weight so I have to get back to business LOL

Mary – Woo hoo Mary! I think I remember you telling me that you had started doing them again already.
Laura – I think we could all probably stand to do a little detox now and then after all the crap we put in our bodies!
Canadian Bald Guy – Good luck to you too!
Angie – The few workouts that I did of Scott’s back when I purchased the program were great so I know that the rest of them will be too. Unfortunately because of my toe I wasn’t able to start them again
If it’s broken it will be about 3-4 weeks before I can do much of anything.
I think watching your portions and drinking the 12 glasses of water are great goals to focus on. Those are 2 of my goals I’ve been working on so far (I am trying to drink 7 or 8 big plastic subway cups – I need to figure out how many ounces the cup is – full of water a day, so far so good.
