Checking in From Atlanta, Georgia

Once again it’s been awhile since I’ve posted over here. Things have been insanely crazy lately because I was so busy getting a bunch of work done and other odds and ends before heading out of town this past Tuesday. As you see from the title I’m in Atlanta, Georgia right now. Got here Thursday.

Some of you may have ‘heard’ a bunch of NAMS talk on Twitter lately. Well that’s where I’m at. NAMS stands for Niche Affiliate Market Systems. It’s all about affiliate marketing and it’s a big conference with three different levels – beginner, intermediate and advanced. Anyways that’s why I’m here. I’m having a blast! Learning lots and meeting so many awesome people! And enjoying a week away and no ‘responsibilities’.

The road trip down was a lot of fun. Kind of. Well for the most part it was but driving through the mountains was really rough. I had a major meltdown Thursday during the drive through the mountains. Not just a little nervous feeling but as in a major meltdown. I had to pull my sweatshirt over my head so I couldn’t see. I was shaking and crying! (No I wasn’t driving! lol).

I survived it but I’m a little freaked already thinking about having to drive back through them on our way home. So for the next NAMS workshop which is coming up in August that we are coming back for I’m going to be checking out the price of a plane ticket!

Oh, Trishia, sorry to hear about your meltdown. But glad to hear you made it to Atlanta safe and sound.

Have fun, say hi to our friends for me, and post pictures next time, ok?

    Tishia,
I am all about flying! I’m going in Aug. as is Danielle most likely so let’s see if we can get flights that come in around the same time as it gets closer. I won’t be looking for plane tickets until July most likely unless there is some crazy great sale between now and then LOL

Had a blast at NAMS with you and you know, I know what the meltdowns are like. You know I had that whenever I thought about doing video. Everyone at NAMS must have thought I was a mess har har

So great meeting you in person!

I highly doubt anyone though you were a mess! We all have our phobias/fears of something. I’m telling ya though you did great on video! And once you start doing it over and over it will get easier – I swear!

I just looked at airfare and it was EXPENSIVE! The cheapest I found was $254.00 round trip. So hopefully something will come up less expensive or I certainly won’t be flying!

It is scary driving through the mountains. I’ll never forget riding up the side of pikes peak in CO… I about crapped myself! ;)

Nell – LOL I probably would have NOT made it through that trip! I’m sure those mountains are way worse than the ones we drove through!
