My kiddo woke up at 4am this morning sick. He hasn’t thrown up since late this morning and his fever has held right around 99.1 all day until just recently. It’s now up to 100.5 and I certainly pray it doesn’t get any worse.

He literally camped out in the bathroom for a good portion of the day! I couldn’t get him to come out. He just wanted to lay on the floor by the toilet. A couple different times he was up on his hands & knees, head down on the floor rocking back & forth crying “help me mom.” It was the saddest thing ever and I felt so bad for him. It really stinks when your kid is sick and there’s nothing you can do for them.

Once I finally got him out of the bathroom he took up camp on the couch and pretty much hasn’t moved from that spot. He did fall asleep finally around 4pm and slept for about an hour. I was hoping he’d get more sleep than that.

He’s worried that he won’t be able to go to school tomorrow because he has a basketball game tomorrow night. I told him he can’t help it if he’s sick and there’s always the next basketball game next week that he can play in. He didn’t like that answer lol.
