Weight Watchers Week 3 Weigh In
Blech! This week made me frown a little. Ok a lot! I only lost 1.6 pounds and it ticked me off. My grand total is now 17 pounds lost and while I’m happy that I’ve lost that in just three weeks this is where I start getting bummed. As soon as the weight loss slows I get frustrated. I know it takes time but it aggravates the heck out of me that I’m working so hard at something and not seeing big results.

Tishia, you have to remember that muscle weighs more than fat. The walks that you take are building muscle. Have you measured yourself? That will help as well.
Don’t give up. You can do this. Weight loss is a slow process, but the outcome will be wonderful. You can do it Tishia. I know you can!

I totally understand what you mean!!!! I too am doing weight watchers, online, and it’s really hard when I see only small weight drops. Mine have all been under a pound or just over a pound with one loss at 2.6. Then I gained 2.4 back over the time my sister was here. But, we have to keep plugging along and try not to get discouraged. I forgot to weigh myself today, so I will in the morning. I feel like I lost again, but I always do, and then it ends up being a really small loss. My body is weird. LOL. No, it’s my thyroid I know, but still its so frustrating, especially when I know I’ve been doing really good!!! Me and Trish need to take our measurements again too. It’s been another month, and I know I’ve lost inches cuz my clothes are looser and people are starting to tell me they can tell I’ve lost weight. But, still I want it to be more at once! LOL. Okay, enough rambling! I’m with ya sister. Just keep plugging along. Every pound taken off adds a year to your life! LOL. I don’t know if that’s true or not, but it sounds good, right??? Anyway, I’m still rambling, but I just want you to know I completely understand how you feel!!!! Let’s hang in there together!!!
Love ya!

Hey now… you know you can’t keep up the high numbers over the long term. Don’t let that scale intimidate you. You’re doing great!

Forget the scale Tishia and take measurements. Inch loss is much faster than weight loss and you will be so excited to see those numbers because that means you’ll need smaller clothes!
Don’t get discouraged, just keep on going!
Today I start Jillian Michael’s 30 Day Shred so I had to take measurements. Those numbers have gone up since I last measured so I’m bound and determined to hit my goal.
What exercises are you doing? I know you can do this!

I think that’s great progress!!! Not every week will be a big winner. I did WW after my second son was born and would stall every 3-4 weeks, but overall I was VERY happy with the program and eventually met my goal weight! Best of luck!!!

You are doing great! Think of it this way, it is better to lose that pound than to gain it back! I want to lose a little bit of weight myself but am finding it hard to watch what I eat!

Corrie – I’m impatient so this whole slow process that weight loss takes drives me absolutely INSANE! I want it to fall off overnight. lol I will measure again next week cause it will be my one month ‘anniversary’.
Mary – Thanks for your book…oh I mean your comment
Yep we gotta stick together. Weight loss buddies always seem to make the slow going a little better. lol
Kelly – I need to just pitch that stupid scale cause it always just makes me miserable!
Angie – You are always such a great cheerleader and of course you are an inspiration. I’m still always so amazed about your determination & will to NOT give up! Right now I’m just walking & honestly that’s all I can handle right now! LOL
April – Thanks for you comment & congrats on reaching your goal weight. I have a LONG way to go before I’m even remotely close to my goal weight but I’m believing one day I WILL get there!
Bobbi – Thanks for your comment
Stephani – You are absolutely right. It is definitely better to lose a little than gain it back! It is definitely really hard to watch what you eat.
