Peanut Butter Recalls!
Have you heard about the peanut butter recalls?
For the most part I don’t watch news or read the papers. It’s always added more anxiety to my life than I’ve needed. Now that we live in the city and not one of the safesty cities I definitely try to avoid it at all costs. But I did catch a preview of a news story that hit home because my son is a peanut butter fanatic!
There’s a list of several peanut butter products that have been recalled but the ones that stuck out at me were the Keebler Cheese & Peanut Butter Sandwich Crackers because those are the ones that were sitting up in cupboard.
How do you feel about yet another food recall because of a salmonella outbreak?

Maple Leaf Foods had a big recall on their meat a little while ago because of Listeria. That was scary. 20 people died! It makes you want to plant a big-ass garden and never shop at a grocery store again. Sure wish we could have more security in knowing the foods we buy are safe for us.

Cassie I know what you mean! There have been so many recalls with food. My son asked why we had to throw all those crackers away and I had to explain to him about another food recall & he was like oh yeah just like how people died from eating spinach. Sad that a 10 year old has to know stuff like that!

The extra scary part is that a lot of these recalls are coming from really reputable companies. With today’s technology and screening processes, you’d think this wouldn’t be happening as much as it does. WTH!
