It’s Raining Men
So there’s a few different things going on in my world of men and dating.
The Recent Date from Last Weekend:
Remember Mr New York Accent that I just recently met and that has just as quickly went bye bye? Yeah well if you don’t remember believe me you aren’t missing anything.
He seems to think it’s ok to talk very disrespectfully to me via text messages. I shared in the comments of the above linked post about what he said to me last week that had me cringing. Well it happened again at 1:17am this past Friday…well technically it was Saturday. It was basically just like the other text only this time he threw in what time he had to go to work:
“hey I have to get up at 6 for work wanna f*** my brains out?”
Ugh! Seriously! How does a man even think it’s remotely close to being ok to talk to a woman like that?????
The Older Man:
There’s an older man (he’s 41, I’m 34 – not that bad of an age difference) and we’ve been having marathon email sessions for several weeks now. I’m definitely very interested in him.
But I was kind of confused that he hadn’t asked for my phone number or even a ‘real’ email address. We were emailing back and forth via the dating site so I wasn’t sure whether he was actually interested or not.
Tonight (well actually last night – Monday) we actually progressed to having each others phone number and I even have his email address! LOL. We sent several text messages back and forth and it was great!
But….he still hasn’t asked me out. So I’m like WTH? Is he interested or not? Do I just ask him out or just leave it be? I’m not sure. So I think I’ll just go with the flow of how things are going right now because I really enjoy talking (actually it’s communicating via email and text cause we haven’t talked on the phone yet) with him. A lot.
The Lansing Dude:
This guy and I just started emailing a couple days ago and he is already texting and wanting to talk. Not complaining about that. Gotta talk to get to know someone right? So far I don’t know a whole lot of anything about him.
The I Don’t Have a Nickname For Dude:
Not sure what to call him. Actually maybe I should call him Port Huron dude, he spends what seems to be a lot of time going up there. But anyways…he’s younger also – 32.
The problem I have with him is at 32 he’s only ever had a serious relationship for like a month-n-half (if my memory serves me correctly). Whatever, I know the relationship was short! And that’s definitely a huge issue for me.
I also have issues with the fact that I get the vibe he’s trying too hard. Agrees with a lot of things I say, blah blah blah. But we have a date Friday night so we’ll see. I feel kind of bad because I’m already feeling the whole I’m not into you thing but I don’t know how to tell him that.
So to sum it up…
Have I ever mentioned how much I despise dating and how much of a pain in the rump it is? LOL
The one I’m most interested in is taking his sweet ole time in asking for a date. And heck at this point I don’t even know if he’s going to ask me for a date. I’m still not even entirely sure he’s interested in me! I think he is I mean why else would he be emailing and now texting? Right????
