I Had A Perfect Date
…with some GIRL friends Friday night
It was great! We did dinner (3 of us) at Applebee’s where they have the most scrumptious Weight Watcher’s steak & portabella mushrooms! And I had to enjoy another perfect strawberry margarita because it was divine the very first time I tried it.
After dinner we picked up another friend and we headed to the movies to watch My Sister’s Keeper. Oh my gosh this was by far the saddest movie I’ve ever seen! I didn’t think anything could top The Notebook but this one totally did!
As the people, that were in the 7:15pm showing of My Sister’s Keeper got out, walked by we all were watching them to see if there were any dry eyes. A few but not many! We all knew we were in trouble!
I was so exhausted from all the crying and had such a headache from crying that all I could do was go to bed once we left the movies! I haven’t had a good cry like that in awhile and it wiped me out!
So anyways that’s what I call a PERFECT date..hanging out with the girls, enjoying a drink over dinner and then heading to a total chic flick movie!

Sounds like an awesome date! Hubby and I watched My Sisters keeper last week and I cried like a baby. It was so sad. The last part with when she was showing the mom her book was the worst part, I lost it! It was a good movie though.

Laura – I think I’ll keep on having these perfect dates. Definitely need to do them MORE often that’s for sure!
Heather – I would never watch that movie with a man near me! No way no how! LOL I seriously think I was crying like 15 minutes into the movie, before it even got really sad! And yes I know what you mean about the last part when she was showing her mom the book – oh my goodness I couldn’t even stifle my sobs by then!
