I Did It All By Myself
I’d like to brag about how brilliantly smart I am but with step-by-step instructions it’s kind of hard not to be smart
So I was blessed with a laptop (and now that it’s got more memory installed on it and I have my software installed I’m in even more love with the freedom and flexibility a laptop provides!) but needed a wireless router to use at the house. I ordered one of a website called egg.com and it came in the mail Jan 3rd.
I wasn’t sure how it was going to go with me setting up a network because when it comes to anything even remotely techy I’m pretty clueless. And I was still unsure of myself even with a step-by-step CD. But I did it. And that’s pretty impressive for me. It was a quick install but I did have some problems with getting the laptop connected to the network. I was getting frustrated so I had to just shut the computer down and walk away for a few minutes. Funny thing? After I turned laptop back on it immediately recognized the network and it was good to go.
So the next step? Hooking up a 2nd PC – Caleb’s computer. And that was super duper easy. It simply took an ethernet cable being plugged into Caleb’s computer and plugging it into the router.
I can’t believe how easy setting all this stuff up was! Guess that just means I don’t get to brag on myself and fell all super techy smart and stuff!
Well ok I’m going to allow myself to feel smart about this just because I can. LOL
