Hey Ladies Do You Ask Men Out?
Alaina from Ms. Single Mama recently started a forum for Single Moms (it rocks by the way…I’m totally digging it!) and one of the topics on the forum is about women asking men out.
I can’t do it. I’m not that brave!
I can do the flirting thing. Like for example Sunday I was grocery shopping with my best friend and her hubby and there was a guy in the aisle (whom was pretty darn cute by the way!) and there was definitely some flirting going on between the two of us – smiles and eye contact. As he left the aisle I turned to check him out one more time only to find him turned watching me. But anyways…even though I would have liked to talk to him I couldn’t just strike up a conversation. I’m too chicken!
Or like last Thursday flirting with the garbage man! Yes the garbage man! LOL
So you can only imagine if I’m that chicken to strike up a conversation how I definitely don’t have the balls to ask a guy out.
I’ve heard that some guys think a woman asking them out is the greatest. It shows their confidence. I’ve heard others say that they still like to be the one doing the pursuing.
Ladies, what are your thoughts?

Consider me one of those guys that think a woman asking him out is the greatest.
I’ve played too many games over the years. A woman not only showing interest but actually asking ME out is awesome!! I’m always a sucker for a woman who has that type of confidence.

Absolutely NOT! I know women who are very aggressive. I’m just not one of them. I’m more of a traditional girl who wants to be pursued by a man. The problem with that is that I’m usually a little “slow” when it comes to recognizing when a man is hitting on me. Guess I’ve been out of the game for too long. LOL

Lisa – I know what you mean about being more of the traditional type girl who wants to be pursued by a man. It usually takes me a little while to realize a man is hitting on me too. Sometimes I just need a ’slap upside the head’ to realize that I’m being hit on. LOL
