Back Problems:

It’s 2:32am as I’m half sitting, half lying with pillows propped behind my back trying to type this out (it’s not comfortable whatever position this is). The last 3 days have been heck with having hurt my back. I’ve had back problems for several years now (from a car accident I was in) and every once in awhile it just flares up out of the blue and then just as mysteriously as it flared up the pain goes away and I’m back to normal.

I haven’t slept hardly at all the last 3 days because…well those of you that suffer from back problems know what it’s like trying to get comfortable. It’s nearly next to impossible. Icy Hot, Tylenol and Motrin have become my new best friends although Tylenol doesn’t seem to even begin to touch the pain. Motrin seems to ease the pain enough for a couple hours that I can at least rest.

I keep praying that God will take the pain away quickly. I’ve shed lots of tears cause it hurts so bad and I haven’t been able to be on the computer much lately which makes me sad too. I did notice that the last time I was up and moving around it felt a little less tight and not as much pain was shooting down my right leg so that’s gotta be a good sign

Birthdays:

Seems how it’s after Midnight and technically Friday that makes it my birthday. I’m still not sure how 34 years has creeped up on me. It doesn’t seem right. But it also doesn’t seem right that my ‘baby’ is 10, 11 this summer! Where has the time gone?????

I’m not as depressed this year about the birthday as I was when I turned 30. However, I don’t like the fact that next year I’m gonna be 35 – the 1/2 way point to 40. I know I stress about silly things such as this but that’s just how I am.

I got a couple birthday cards in the mail yesterday and I was able to attend The Marketers Mojo Virtual Conference (which rocked! I learned so much from the speakers! Now it’s a matter of taking the information and putting it into action!) because it was given to me as a birthday gift

If I had extra money I’d totally be buying myself a gift (isn’t that so selfish?!?!). I’ve wanted one of those silly Flip Camcorders since they first came out. And they even have them in PINK….totally my color.

But the one thing I really want for my birthday that I won’t get? A birthday cake. LOL Isn’t that so silly? But that’s the one thing I’m truly missing about being 3 1/2 hours away from my family – my mom’s birthday get togethers and birthday cakes. There’s just something that makes a birthday so unofficial without a cake But for someone that isn’t exactly thrilled about celebrating her birthday why would I even want a cake? I can’t answer that cause I don’t know. Maybe it’s just that I like chocolate and a cake on my bday would ‘justify’ having it! ROFLOL

Caleb’s Spring Play:

So if I had one of those ultra cool super sexy Flip cameras I could totally bore entertain you with bits and pieces of the spring play Caleb had tonight. He so wasn’t all that into it, just like any other play, musical type thing he has to be a part of it but it’s always entertaining watching his facial expressions and then there are those class clowns that ham it up & make it so worth it. I have video on my camcorder but I don’t have the cables to upload it to my computer or the software to convert it to something that can be viewable. That’s why a Flip is right up my alley – all I have to do is plug the USB in and I’m good to go.

So I have the video footage from his play but can’t do anything with it – waah! And there’s other footage on there to that I’d like to put on my computer (caleb’s wrestling matches) but can’t.

Nothing in Particular:

Ok well that’s all the boring news from my neck of the woods. I’m hoping to be able to catch some zzzz’s tonight. I’m gonna go put some Icy Hot (oh yeah that’s 1 plus to being single – I can slather it on and not worry about how stinky I am cause it’s just me that has to smell me!) on and take some more Motrin. I’m sure my liver isn’t liking me right about now. I’ve definitely been taking way too much medicine the last couple days but it’s the only thing I can do.
