A Weekend of Pure Bliss
Oh my goodness I can’t even put into words the weekend I had. It was amazing. I never realized that doing NOTHING could be amazing. LOL But when you do nothing in a lake house with friends it certainly is amazing.
I spent the weekend at my friends Kelly and Angel’s lake house. I’m still in awe over the sunsets I experienced and how it was pure bliss waking up to sunshine and a beautiful clear blue lake.
Seriously when I say I did nothing….I literally mean nothing.
Friday Night:
It was dinner with Kelly, my friend Mary and myself. Angel, her boyfriend and her friend Kim joined us later. We had a great bonfire, enjoyed S’mores and oohed and aahhed over the sunset.
Saturday:
Saturday it was a quick coffee run so Kelly and I could check our email (because Verizon failed…shame on you Verizon…and no internet got hooked up at the house). We picked up lasagna’s for dinner and then hit some resale shops. The afternoon I spent being as lazy as possible! I sat outside for awhile, did some reading and then crawled into bed for a couple hour nap! Then it was dinner with more peeps (including my pastor & his wife!). After dinner we headed outside to enjoy another gorgeous sunset, another bonfire and of course more S’mores.
Sunday:
(Today) it was church and oh my goodness praise and worship was amazing. A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! It’s been so long since I’ve really felt God’s presence and had praise & worship touch me the way it did today. It was thee most perfect way to end the most amazing weekend!

That is wonderful Tishia that you had such a great weekend. Saw the pictures on Facebook and they are all beautiful. So glad to hear that you took time to do absolutely nothing. It truly does rejuvenate you doesn’t it?

Friday was soooo much fun! I really had a great time hanging out with you, Kelly and the rest of the gang! It was very relaxing watching the sunset and eating s’mores by the campfire! I hope to be able to do it again soon!
Yes, today’s worship was AWESOME!!!!! I could really feel the Holy Spirit and one of the songs really, I mean really ministered to me. I can’t wait for more!
