My 8 year old nephew is on meds for ADHD that cause him to be very hungry but if he eats too fast then he gets sick. My brother has him wait 20 minutes before eating more then one helping, and if he says he's still hungry he gets something more. He's gained 12 lbs so far (but I'm not sure since when). Did the meds affect his eating before so he wasn't eating at all?
