Hypocrite

Relationships/friendships/whatever you want to call them are so hard sometimes. And then there are times when they should be easy, (well maybe not easy because I don’t think any relationship can be easy because human beings are complicated creatures and you put two of them together into a relationship and that certainly doesn’t equal easy) but I make them difficult.

When you expect someone to be open and honest with you, the same set of rules apply to you. It’s only fair that if you expect the other person to do something, you do it also. Right? Right.

I’m a little disappointed in myself that I hurt someone close to my heart and someone that I care a great deal about and someone that I care about our relationship. To stop and think about the situation now, makes me cringe. I was pretty hypocritical in the way I went about handling something.

How stupid is it to give someone heck about not telling you something all the while you aren’t telling them something???? That is a total hypocrite and how awful that I am the hypocrite in the whole situation. It’s not really a good feeling.

We’ve all been there. And you know what, sometimes we need that little slap in the face to remind us that we are human, we make mistakes, but we also have the capacity to forgive. It sounds like you’re upset with yourself over your actions, I hope your friend will realize this too, and find her/his way to forgive you. Sometimes – heck most times – it’s the ones closest to us that we tend to hurt the most.

Relationships are about learning – no matter how long you are with someone, there is always way to improve, ways to do it better, and more to learn about each other. Don’t be to hard on yourself:) It’s just a chance to make an improvement:) If you never realized you were making an mistake, how could you ever grow and improve? life would get boring:)

Look at it not just as a mistake you made – but a chance to make that relationship even better:)

Hey! Don’t be so hard on yourself. I mean, it is a good sign that you feel bad because obviously you care. Another thing, remember we are all complicated creatures and no one is perfect. Hopefully, time will heal..and sending chocolate and flowers can’t hurt! :-)
